BIOGRAPHY OF AVUL PAKIR JAINULABDEEN ABDUL KALAM

AVUL PAKIR JAINULABDEEN ABDUL KALAM (A.P.J.ABDUL KALAM )WAS BORN ON 15th OCTOBER 1931 AT RAMESWARAM, TAMIL NADU .

HER MOTHER NAME IS ASHIAMMA SHE WAS A HOUSE WIFE AND HER FATHER NAME IS JAINULABIDDIN MARAKAYAR HE WAS AOWNED A FERRY . KALAM WAS A 5th CHILDREN IN HER FAMILY AND HE HAVE FOUR SIBLINGS THEY ARE 1.MOHAMMED MUTHU MEERA LEBBAI MARAIKAYAR 2.ASIM ZOHRA 3.KASIM MOHAMMED 4.MUSTAFA KALAM 



HE WAS STUDIED A PHYSIC AND AEROSPACE ENGINEERING AFTER COMPLETING HE SPEND THE NEXT FOUR DECANDES AS A SCIENTIST AND A SCIENCE ADMINISTRATOR , MAINLY AT THE "DEFENCE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION (DRDO) AND INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION (ISRO) AND DEVELOPED A MILITARY MISSILE DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS AND HE CALLED AS A MISSILE MAN OF INDIA .


ABDUL KALAM WAS ELECTED AS 11th PRESIDENT OF INDIA IN 2002AND HE CALLED AS A "PEOPLE'S PRESIDENT"

HE WAS RECIVED A SEVERAL PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS LIKE PADMA BHUSHAN (1981), AND PADMA VIBHUSHAN (1990) AND THE HIGEST CIVILIAN HONOUR BHARAT RATNA (1997).


CAREER:
                   GRADUATING FROM THE MADRAS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT) IN 1960 AND JOINED THE AERONAUTICAL DEVELOPMENT DEVELOPED ESTABLISHED OF DEFENCE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION AND BECOME A MEMBER OD DEFENCE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICE (DRDS)

ABDUL KALAM WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE "INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION (ISRO)


ACHIEVEMENTS :
                                  HE ROSE TO THE PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE COUNTRY'S MOST ADVANCED SATELLITE LUNCHED VEHICLE (SLV-4) AND IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED THE "ROHINI"SATELLITE INTO THE NEAR EARTH ORBIT IN 18-JULY-1980


ABDUL KALAM WAS SERVED AS A 11th PRESIDENT OF INDIA AND HE DECIDED TO BECOME A VISITING PROFESSOR (HE VISIT MY SCHOOLS AND PROVIDE HER FULL INCOME FOR POOR PEOPLE )   AND HE WAS THE ROLL MODEL OF MANY YOUNGSTER IN INDIA.
